Name: Kentauros, Chiron (Signs as C. Kent)

Duel Information: Intends to use a deck utilizing all basic strategies, with the monsters variations on the Centaur type. Kent has only a basic experience with Duel Monsters, and is only acquainted with the basic rules of the game at best.

A Centaur by design, Kentauros appears to have jumped almost straight out of some sci-fi variation of greek mythology. Standing at around 7 feet tall (or 2 meters), Kentauros' upper half seems to be designed after a normal human. His lower half, however, was designed after a typical war horse, the two 'halves' seeming to meet seamlessly. His body is clearly mechanical of a science fiction degree. Thin white plates wrap around his exterior, with a dark gray, cloth-like undersuit covering up external plating. Despite the plating, it is possible for him to wear a jacket on his upper half.

His black hair flows and manages to build into thick, unkempt yet shiny hair, almost all the way down his back, stopping only a couple of inches short. His tail also shares the same feature almost, aside from the tail's base being a smooth cylinder.

None of his body follows a natural pattern, opting instead for sleek mechanical curves and lines. By default, he has a very clean appearance to him, the lines of his body, the underlying suit in gaps for mobility's sake, and his human-like face are the only things that keep him from being completely featureless for a Centaur android.

His eyes are a deep orange in color, and appear similar to natural eyes. When sleeping, his eyes dull out and lose their natural appearance, seeming to become flat and almost painted on. As well, uncovering the sides of his hair reveals that in place of his ears, he has caps with a thin line running along the side of them.


Personality:
Kent is usually a calm individual. He's eager to hear people's issues, and is willing to help them out. Although ignoring his advice (or common sense) angers him, he is never able to act on that anger and it is forgotten within hours. Others may be able to pick up some odd or flawed attempts at body language. He does not have a full grasp of emotions, but shies away from a list of "undesired" emotions.

As well, he insists on a person living in a healthy manner, and only relents when others insist that they are normal, or otherwise persist in declining his help through various means. Starting a fight is at the least of his desires.


History:
Kentauros comes from a world known as "Orbis terrarum de Machinis". Many androids are sent out from this world to various other dimensions to study them independently. Ordinarily, they resemble humans by a far greater deal, often taking the form of strange people whose behavior could never be quite explained. Often, there were not many of these people, one or two perhaps to a world.

Earth became a subject of frequent discussion among the Machinis due to it's relations with the 12 Dimensions, and the events that surrounded the both of them. It was determined that another had to be sent, and considering the societal changes observed over a number of years, what were frequently known as 'Monsters' had become acceptable public figures.

A focal point of this dimensional activity was determined to be Earth's own Duel Academy, and Kentauros volunteered himself for the task of more directly researching the place, it's inhabitants, the phenomena, along with a personal interest in the medicinal arts, along with the impact of the dimensional affairs, societal concerns. It all seemed far more interesting than simply helping other members of his own kind regularly.

Kentauros' first activation on Sun Date 562943.5, the exact time being the only thing that can be translated. For his world's time measurements, that would be the equivalent of "some day, at the peak of 'noon". Kentauros chose the name 'Chiron' because of it's associations with his design, and from what he knows of his personality map.

Prior to transferring to the Academy with an all-expenses paid (and possibly one-way) trip, Kentauros worked as a technician, repairing machines of many kinds, even those with extremely complex construction. The work was far less exciting than he had envisioned it to be, and he quickly accepted an opportunity to work with things that aren't machines, with plans for a long-term stay.


Abilities:
An android by design, Kentauros naturally excels in the various types of academia and mechanical repair when in the classroom and when otherwise free of distraction.

Upper body strength is equivalent to an average human. Lower body strength is equivalent to a strong horse. Precision tool use, however, is nearly unequaled and none have a steady hand like him.

A hidden away purple visor (on his back, under his hair, wears it like sunglasses, picture will change to showcase it) can do mild scans of regular wildlife and some mechanical objects. Imperfect at ranges beyond 4 feet, impossible beyond 8 feet. Otherwise, he can only estimate what a person is capable of based on what they look like. His eyes can also zoom in and out like cameras.
